About the FDSS Cup

FDSS holds its coveted FDSS Cup Floral Designing Competition on a bi-annual basis. Competitors compete in either the Amateur or Professional category in which they will create specialty designs and also create a surprise package design. Since 1998, local and overseas participants have taken the challenge to showcase their creative flair and innovative floral designs.

To date, no other floral designing competition in Singapore has come close in terms of its successful response and the high standard of floristry professionalism.

Apart from the floral designing competition which in itself is a floral education program, this event was organized such that it would allow a congregation of florists, floral designers, trade (floral) associates and floral enthusiasts the opportunity to not only recognize the floristry profession but also to open trade opportunities for the floral industry and floral instruction schools.

The Floral Designer’s Society (Singapore) will be holding its coveted 6^th International FDSS CUP Floral Designing Competition at the Singapore Garden Festival on Friday, 25 July 2008 at SUNTEC Convention and Exhibition Centre.

We invite you to take up the challenge of displaying your creative talent with flowers at this biannual competition. Attractive cash prizes of SGD2,000 awaits the Champion winner in the Professional Category whilst the Champion winner in the Amateur Category gets to win SGD1,000!
